A Moment from My Journal: Experiencing Stillness and Presence
Choosing to Be.
There are moments in life when we feel small — moments when fear whispers that life might hurt us.
But life never truly hurts.
It simply is.
A moment.
A breath.
We exist, like a tree — rooted, present.
Life is not distant; it’s here, in the power of now.
And in that moment, we can search endlessly…
or we can simply be.
I believe there is a song inside me, a current of creativity flowing through my soul.
Sometimes I wonder — are we meant to keep searching, if existence itself is enough?
So I let people be,
as I breathe,
as my chest rises.
I surrender control.
Gratitude wraps around me.
I am reborn in the heat of summer,
seeing magic in everything,
knowing I belong to it all.
I drop the need for structure and turn to faith.
I loosen my thoughts.
I stand in the presence of the Creator.
And I dare —
I dare to reach for the woman I long to become.
The morning mist fades beneath the sun’s heat.
I release the darkness.
It still lingers…
but it no longer owns me.
I breathe, softly.
I see the mystic.
I feel the presence.
I let go of the idea of who I thought I should be.
Do I cling to the threads?
Or do I let go of the weight that was never mine?
Wait.
I see it now.
Freedom.
Today.
Tomorrow.
Any moment I choose
to simply be me.
And this is what I see so often in my work.
When we pause long enough to simply be, the heaviness we carry starts to lift.
When we listen, the guidance is already there — from spirit, from the heart, from the quiet truth within.
If you’re ready to step into your own freedom, to release what isn’t yours and connect with the deeper wisdom that’s always been with you, I’d be honoured to walk that path with you
